Healing with Nature’s Strength
An Ayurveda retreat is a very special journey—not just geographically, but toward yourself. To ensure you can fully focus on your inner balance once you arrive, proper preparation is key. Here is a practical packing list with everything you truly need, tailored for your stay at Tree of Life.
Clothing for tropical temperatures (24–32 °C): Note: We provide an on-site laundry service, so there’s no need to overpack.
Light, comfortable clothing made of cotton or linen.
Extra underwear that you don’t mind getting oily.
Swimwear and flip-flops.
Toothpaste (ideally fluoride-free) and personal care products like natural cosmetic creams.
Shawls or scarves for meditation, sun protection, or temple visits.
Sunscreen of your choice.
Personal medication and supplements (if needed) for the duration of your stay. Please note that not all European medications are available in Sri Lanka. Please ensure you bring enough of any essential medication, as our doctors do not prescribe Western medicine.
A travel adapter: We recommend this one [HERE (Amazon Link)].
Tip: A diary or notebook. It’s worth capturing such an experience—give it a try!
If applicable: Medical reports and blood test results (no older than 3 months).
Entry Visa: This is simply about paying the entry fee. You can complete this upon arrival at Colombo airport or in advance online [HERE]. For more details, check out our blog post on the topic.
